Als je in La Zenia bent moet je echt een naar Take A Break gaan uitgebaat door Eric en Joanna , je kunt er zowel binnen als buiten op terras zitten voor een ontbijt of middagmaal en je gaat er zeker van tafel met een volle maag , is zeker aan te raden .

Lovely little cafe only have coffee but always good breakfasts they serve look good too

New updated post as of 22/10/2025.
New menu, many of the old favorites but some new dishes and also a comprehensive cocktail menu plus more.
I must admit I had a good old favorite, the full English breakfast and it was worth every cent, I will not need to cook tonight.
Highly recommend a visit, just above the old Mercandona supermarket near Lidl, easy access via steps or the 2 elevator's.

Been coming here for years and never disappointed with the food, friendly and welcoming staff.
Should be classed as a hidden gem, the cherry pie is to die for 👌super cold beer, and an excellent menu along with home cooked food.
Spain at its best, tell everyone and support your local business.
The premises have recently been completely renovated by the new owners, new terrace furniture and parasols and inside has had a major makeover and everything clean and bright.

Situated just above the old Mercadona next to Lidl in La Zenia.
